The City Health Board in Halifax requests that the Infectious Disease Hospital be repaired as it is in such a dilapidated state that patients cannot be kept safely there in winter. It also requests funds to buy Diphtheria anti-toxin, as supplies have run out in the city, indicating that the vaccine had been introduced in Nova Scotia at least by this year.
