Measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine becomes “available through the public health system for use after a child’s first birthday”; due to supply issues, however, “MMR will not be widely distributed to physicians,” and so the Health Branch suggests that physicians refer parents and their children to public immunizations clinics [“MMR Vaccine,” B.C.
